About the teacher

EFRAT HAZAZ
Delta, British Columbia, Canada.

My name is Efrat Hazaz, and I was born, raised, and grew up in Israel.
Since I was reallocated to Chicago with my Family during 2012, I have worked as a Hebrew teacher in Jewish Schools in Up North Chicago, IL, and later in San-Diego, California.

My experience with the Hebrew teaching is in a verity of classes and schools, from 1st-4th throughout 5th and 8th grade, in a day Hebrew school in Chicago and on Sunday’s school in San Diego.

My journey with Hebrew teaching has started back then while I served at the IDF as a trainer for immigrant soldiers, who made Aliya to Israel from North America, Russia, Europe, and more. Besides teaching them the Hebrew language, I helped the immigrant soldiers to be part of the Israeli community and to merge with the Israeli culture.

Between the years of teaching, I built a management career in Israel at the largest Insurance Company, which I developed, designed, and implemented training and education to teams and departments while I managed over 100 subordinates and managers. Today, I also work as a parenting consultant by Adler Theory.

The ability to merge the Israeli culture as an executive, with the teaching experience for the Mid-west and C.A.’s kids, with the knowledge of the kids’ needs provides me the opportunity to teach our children proactively, and in a way they will appreciate the Hebrew and the Israeli culture and will feel part of it.
