“OFEK and Leslie White's course on Schindler's List provides an incredible and impactful path to understanding the Holocaust. She offers so much information in regards to the history of Poland, the filmmakers and actors behind the project, and insight into the real figures portrayed on screen-- including the legacy they left behind. My explorers have participated in her lecture two years in a row and all of them have expressed great appreciation and understanding for what she does. Students were eager to watch the film, share their feelings afterwards, and ask questions/seek further information. I myself was blown away by what she had to share the first year that I read one of the books she mentioned, and even visited Poland and Auschwitz the following summer.
