Israel’s History – Small Country Long History 5th-8th Grade

How did the State of Israel come to exist? When did the idea of a Jewish state become a reality?

In this course, we will look at the period in Israel’s history from 1917 (The Balfour Declaration) to modern-day Israel. We will look at maps that tell the stories of Israel’s changing borders and we will explore the history of Israel through videos, music, art and much more. We hope that our sessions will enhance your knowledge of Israel’s history and of the different narratives and voices that shape the complex reality of Israel today.

This course is offered several times during the year with the same content.
