Mothers And Daughters Celebrating Mitzvah

The “Bat Mitzvah” is an exciting step for a girl in her journey growing up. It symbolizes the time when a girl becomes a young woman and is the beginning of every female journey.

For us, “Bat Mitzvah” is an opportunity – an opportunity to deepen the intimate connection between every daughter and her mother and with herself; an opportunity to connect to our Jewish and Israeli roots. We think this is an excellent reason to celebrate the “Bat Mitzvah” year and make it both meaningful and inspirational and so, for you – mothers and daughters – we decided to create an inspirational course.

In this ten-session course you will have the opportunity to embark on a personal journey across time and a quest for answers. We believe that our time together will be exciting, interesting, and fun but, most importantly, we will do it together. The course will touch on a multitude of worlds including relationships, current affairs, history, tradition, empowerment of women, and self-expression. We will use tools from the coaching world, expressive writing, an optimistic attitude, and a joyful experience.

In every meeting, we will touch on a different angle of our relationship with the world around us because, like in every journey, the people we meet along the way have a tremendous effect on our experiences and the way we view the world.

During our meetings we will talk about:

• The connection between my mother and me, my connection to my immediate and extended family and my connection to my friends, my community, and my culture.
• We will Get to know more about the life in Israel and Israeli culture, deepening the connection to Judaism
• We will talk about the daily challenges of the participants.We hope this course will be a meaningful part of your mother-daughter relationship for years to come and look forward to seeing you!
