Israeli Innovation, Artificial Intelligence and Programming Adventures for Kids is a 10-week online and interactive course featuring live sessions with instructors and small classes of students.
The course is for students in 5th-8th grade with no prior knowledge of the curriculum. This course will guide students through three core subjects:
1. Programming basics in an object-oriented language while experimenting with loops, variables, conditions, and functions.
2. Principles of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how algorithms in the field can be designed and implemented.
3. Real-life examples of Israeli startups that are disrupting markets and solving business problems. Each session is designed to develop a mindset of solving logical problems, early planning, and creative thinking.
Students will be introduced to cutting-edge tools and technologies from IBM, Google, MIT labs and more. Live sessions have proven to be much more effective (and fun!) than recorded, self-learning programs. Students should have access to a computer with internet connection, camera, microphone, and speakers.

הקורס מיועד לסטודנטים בכיתות ה’-ח’ ללא ידע מוקדם בתכנית הלימודים.
הקורס מנחה את הילדים בשלושה נושאי ליבה:
1. יסודות תכנות בשפה מונחית עצמים עם התנסות בלולאות, משתנים, תנאים ופונקציות.
2. עקרונות בינה מלאכותית (AI) וכיצד ניתן לתכנן וליישם אלגוריתמים במציאות.
3. דוגמאות אמיתיות לחברות סטארט-אפ ישראליות שמשנות את העולם בו אנו חיים.
הסטודנטים צריכים גישה למחשב עם מצלמה, רמקולים ומיקרופון וחיבור לאינטרנט.
