In this Bโnai/Bโnot Mitzvah course, students will be learning about the meaning behind the Bโnai/Bโnot Mitzvah year, by implementing Jewish and Israeli core values, such as Social Justice, Tikkun Olam and Mitzvot. We will utilize the Hebrew calendar for creating context with other life cycle events. The Bโnai/Bโnot Mitzvah service project includes 10 meetings
We will talk about Tikkun Olam โ social justice, community building, the value of giving, identity and belonging, and the meaning of Mitzvah. Gain tools of how to contribute and volunteer in your local community.
