The course is taught in Hebrew and is intended for Hebrew-speaking students who can speak, read with the punctuation marks, and are able to write words in script letters.

The sessions are held once a week for 45-50 minutes and will focus on learning Hebrew while emphasizing the development of linguistic abilities, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Throughout the course, students will be exposed to vocabulary and content from Israeli culture.

Participants will receive tasks to practice at home and will be given assignments for maximum assimilation of the material covered in class.

Preliminary requirements :

Students who know how to speak and write short sentences in script, in a proper structure; know how to inflect verbs and adjectives (e.g., describing colors and sizes of objects), and have the ability to conduct a conversation with complex sentences.

In the course we will learn:

• Speaking and listening – ability to conduct a complex conversation in Hebrew and complete instructions in Hebrew.
• Reading – reading short stories.
• Reading Comprehension – Reading comprehension of a text by finding the answers in the text.
• Writing – writing complete text-based answers.
