Hebrew Adults Level 3

The course will be taught in Hebrew and English and is intended for Non- Hebrew speaking students as their mother tongue.

The sessions are held once a week for 45-50 minutes and will focus on learning Hebrew while emphasizing the development of linguistic abilities, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Throughout the course, students will be exposed to vocabulary and content from Israeli culture. Participants will receive tasks to practice at home and will be given assignments for maximum assimilation of the material covered in class.

Preliminary requirements:

The students know how to write in script, read simple sentences, know basic vocabulary, male-female identification, familiarity with question words and Implicit pronouns , know how to build a simple sentence in a standard way, familiarity with the verb and active constructions, and ability to conduct a daily conversation.

In the course we will learn:

• We will strengthen reading and writing skills
• We will practice writing Hebrew using script letters, and develop an independent and creative writing method
• We will read short stories, expand vocabulary, and answer questions
• We will learn to structure sentences using past tense, verbs, roots, and family words)
• We will practice Hebrew conversation
