Hebrew Adults Level 4

Course description:
The course will be taught in Hebrew and English and is intended for Non- Hebrew speaking students as their native language.

The sessions are held once a week for 60 minutes and will focus on learning Hebrew while emphasizing the development of linguistic abilities, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Throughout the course, students will be exposed to vocabulary and content from Israeli culture.

Participants will receive tasks to practice at home and will be given assignments for maximum assimilation of the material covered in class.

Preliminary requirements:
The students know how to read texts at an advanced level, they know how to write independently, they know how to read short stories, and answer reading and listening comprehension questions. The students know how to conjugate verbs in the present, past and future tense. Their conversational skills are at an advanced level.

In the course we will learn:
♦ Cultivating accurate and eloquent reading
♦ Expanding vocabulary and conversation skills
♦ Developing useful writing: phone conversation, shopping, friendships and more.
♦ Functional-practical writing: greeting card, shopping list and more
♦ Grammar: verbs from the perfect tenses in all tenses (present, past and future).
♦ Names and adjectives in the field of content.
