The course will be taught in Hebrew and English, and is intended for students who have changed to Hebrew as a second language and have studied Hebrew at a high level or have lived in Israel and want to preserve the language and converse in Hebrew on any subject without obstacles.

The sessions are held once a week for 45-50 minutes and will focus on learning Hebrew while emphasizing the development of linguistic abilities, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Throughout the course, students will be exposed to vocabulary and content from Israeli culture.

Participants will receive tasks to practice at home and will be given assignments for maximum assimilation of the material covered in class.

Preliminary requirements:
Students who can conduct a conversation at a high level, read and understand authentic texts of various types and narrative texts.
Linguistic knowledge: verbs in all tenses and imperatives, noun and adjective combinations, linking words of cause and effect and of time.

In the course we will learn:

• We will introduce the students to a variety of more complex Hebrew texts and advance their skills in reading Hebrew, in verbal and grammatical analysis of data and texts in Hebrew, (Israeli newspapers, Hebrew literature and current events).
• We will learn the context in understanding the text as well as acquiring a vocabulary, and producing a grammatical expression orally and in writing in Hebrew.
• We will understand the role of context in the correct use of words in Hebrew and we will acquire high-level thinking strategies by watching videos in Hebrew and analyzing them.
• We will develop better communication skills, both oral and written.
