Looking to learn Hebrew from scratch? This course is for you!
Designed for English speakers with no prior knowledge of Hebrew, our beginner-friendly course introduces you to the Hebrew alphabet, basic reading and writing, and simple conversations — all in a warm and supportive environment.

Classes meet once a week for 60 minutes and include a mix of engaging lessons, fun practice, and cultural Along the way, you’ll get a taste of Israeli culture through fun vocabulary, themes, and interactive activities. Students also receive short assignments and home practice to help reinforce what you’ve learned in class.

What will we learn?

Reading & Writing: Hebrew letters (print and script), vowels and consonants
Speaking & Listening: Everyday Hebrew words and phrases
Grammar:
Personal pronouns (I, you, he, she, etc.)
Gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural)
Basic sentence structure: statements and questions
Common question words (Where, Who, What…)
Demonstrative pronouns (this, that, these)
Hebrew connectors and sentence building
Introduction to numbers and locations
We’ll also explore the present tense of Hebrew verbs and practice with games and real-life conversations.
