This course is intended for advanced Hebrew speakersโthose who studied Hebrew at a high level or lived in Israel and want to maintain fluency and confidence in speaking, reading, and writing Hebrew across a wide range of topics.
Taught primarily in Hebrew with English assistance as needed, the class meets once a week for 60 minutes and focuses on language enrichment through real-world materials and cultural exploration. Each session emphasizes speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, with engaging content drawn from Israeli life.
Students will receive home assignments to support continued learning and deeper assimilation of class content.
Who is this course for?
Students who can read fluently in Hebrew, understand authentic texts (including journalistic and narrative styles), and have strong listening comprehension. Learners should be confident using verbs across all tensesโincluding the imperativeโas well as descriptive language and linking words for cause, effect, and time.
