The course will be taught in Hebrew and English and is intended for Non-Hebrew-speaking students. The sessions are held once a week for 45-50 minutes and will focus on learning Hebrew while emphasizing the development of linguistic abilities, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Throughout the course, students will be exposed to vocabulary and content from Israeli culture.
Participants will receive tasks to practice at home and will be given assignments for maximum assimilation of the material covered in class.
Preliminary requirements:
Students who know how to speak and write short sentences in script, in a proper structure; They know how to inflect verbs and adjectives(e.g., describing colors and sizes of objects), and have the ability to conduct a conversation with complex sentences.
In the course we will learn:
- Speaking and listening – ability to have a conversation in Hebrew and to follow simple instructions.
- Reading – reading short texts.
- Reading comprehension – Identifying true/false in the text regarding the order of the story.
- Writing – writing words and sentences from print to script.
- Grammatical topics – conjugation of present tense verbs, singular-plural.

Credit requirements:
1. Attend at least 90% of classes,
2. Complete all the homework assignments
3. Complete at least 3 projects and 2 assessments throughout the year.
Failure to meet these requirements will result in no credit awarded to the student.
