Level 1 is intended for non-Hebrew-speakers, who do not know how to read and write in Hebrew. The sessions will be held once a week for 45-50 minutes and will focus on acquiring and developing the following language skills: Reading and Reading Comprehension, Writing, Grammar, Listening Comprehension and Speaking.

In the course we will learn:

• Gain familiarity with the alphabet: sounds (vowels & consonants).
• Writing: letters of the alphabet in print, nikud, words and short sentences.
• Reading: simple words and short sentences.
• Basic conversation: the students will converse in Hebrew using new vocabulary learned in class.

Participants will be given homework assignments to reinforce what is learned in the classroom. Join our class today to develop your Hebrew skills and together we will learn to speak, read and write in Hebrew.
