Hebrew Speakers High School Level 1

The course will be taught in Hebrew and is intended for Hebrew-speaking students who are new to reading and writing.

Sessions are held once a week for 60 minutes and will focus on learning Hebrew while emphasizing the development of linguistic abilities, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Throughout the course, students will be exposed to vocabulary and content from Israeli culture.

Participants will receive tasks to practice at home and will be given assignments to enhance the assimilation of the material covered in class.

In the course we will learn:
Speaking and listening – basic conversation in Hebrew.
Reading – reading words and short sentences.
Reading comprehension – vocabulary expansion.
Writing – print letters and punctuation marks, writing words and short sentences.

הקורס יועבר בעברית ומיועד לתלמידים דוברי השפה העברית שאינם יודעים לקרוא ולכתוב.
המפגשים ייערכו אחת לשבוע במשך 60 דקות ויתרכזו בלימוד השפה העברית תוך התמקדות ברכישת מיומנויות השפה: דיבור, האזנה, קריאה וכתיבה וכל זאת תוך חשיפה לאוצר מילים ותכנים מהתרבות הישראלית. המשתתפים יקבלו משימות לתרגול בבית להטמעה מירבית של הנלמד בשיעור.

בקורס נלמד:
דיבור – ניהול שיחה בעברית.
האזנה – הרחבת אוצר מילים.
קריאה – קריאת מילים ומשפטים פשוטים, מדרש תמונה.
כתיבה – הכרת אותיות הדפוס וסימני הניקוד, כתיבת מילים, הרכבת מילים למשפט פשוט.
