The course will be taught in Hebrew and is intended for students who speak Hebrew. Sessions will take place once a week for 45-50 minutes and will center around acquiring Hebrew linguistic skills: speaking and comprehension, reading and writing. All this while introducing students to vocabulary and content from Israeli culture.
Participants will receive tasks to practice at home and will be given assignments for maximum assimilation of the material covered in class.

Preliminary requirements:
The course is intended for students in 3rd-6th grade who’s reading level is advanced, can write independently and converse in complex subjects. Participants feel comfortable with Hebrew, wanting to strengthen and advance their language skills.

In the course we will learn:
– Listening- improving knowledge by listening to stories and video clips
– Reading- students will read complex articles set in different time tenses and conduct research.
– Writing- students will learn to write informative text based on a subject learned
– Grammar- perfect time tenses past and present and introducing future tense. Students will be exposed to advanced vocabulary.
