The arts become the approach to teaching and the vehicle for learning.
In this 3 sessions course curated especially for educators, educators will learn how to bring Israel’s culture and colors into their classroom through art.
In this course we will learn how to work with a variety of techniques: painting from imagination and observation, exploring color, and experimenting with mixed media art.

We will learn new skills and methods in enriching our student’s curriculum through arts and culture and engage in creating units and themes and integrating art into them. We will go on a virtual journey to Israel and will take a closer look at famous locations in Israel, animals, and plants local to Israel. We will explore these places through the art of Israeli artists and be inspired.

Through it all we will learn how to connect the Israeli scenery and Jewish holidays to the experience of the students and the places in their daily lives.
