The course “Israel’s History ” consists of five captivating sessions where we will explore and discuss the many topics:
How did the State of Israel come to exist? When did the idea of a Jewish state become a reality?
In this course, we will look at the period in Israel’s history from 1917 (The Balfour Declaration) to modern-day Israel.
We will embark on a journey beginning in the very first days of Israel’s establishment. Exploring times of peace and war, triumphs and hardships.
From reviewing maps that tell the history of Israel’s changing borders, and with the help of videos, music, and art tell the story of this remarkable country and its people.
We hope that our sessions will enhance your knowledge of Israel’s history and of the different narratives and voices that shape the complex reality of Israel today.
We will meet once a week for 45 minutes each session.
The course will be held in English.
