Israel History – from a Dream to a State

During this course, we will learn about the history of the Jewish people and the State of Israel from the 18th century to the 20th century. Our journey will begin with the Jewish life that developed in Europe and was influenced by its revolutions, leading to the development of the Zionist movement and the waves of immigration to Eretz Israel.

We will explore the development of Jewish life in the Land of Israel and follow the establishment of towns and cities until the declaration of the State of Israel. We will briefly review the early days of the State of Israel and thereby try to encompass this momentous and fascinating period in Jewish history.
