This course is taught in both Hebrew and English and is designed for English-speaking learners who have a basic vocabulary and foundational reading and writing skills in Hebrew. Sessions are held once a week for 45โ50 minutes and focus on building the four core language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing โ all while integrating cultural content from Israeli life.
Students engage with songs, stories, and videos to deepen their connection to the Hebrew language and Israeli culture. High-quality materials from the Center for Educational Technology (CET) support the curriculum and enhance the learning experience.
Homework assignments are provided after each session to reinforce the material covered in class and support long-term retention.
Preliminary requirements:
Ideal for learners who can hold a basic conversation in Hebrew using short sentences and beginner-level vocabulary, are able to write short sentences in script, and are familiar with present-tense verb conjugation.
