The course is taught in both English and Hebrew. It is intended for students who do not speak, read and write Hebrew. The sessions are held once a week for 60 minutes and will focus on learning Hebrew while emphasizing the development of linguistic abilities, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Throughout the course, students will be exposed to vocabulary and content from Israeli culture.
Participants will receive tasks to practice at home and will be given assignments to enhance the assimilation of the material covered in class.
In the course we will learn:
- Speaking and listening – basic conversation in Hebrew
- Reading – reading words
- Reading comprehension – vocabulary expansion
- Writing – letterpress and punctuation marks

הקורס מועבר בעברית ובאנגלית. הקורס מיועד לתלמידים שאינם דוברי השפה העברית ושאינם יודעים לקרוא ולכתוב. המפגשים ייערכו אחת לשבוע במשך 60 דקות ויתרכזו בלימוד השפה העברית תוך התמקדות ברכישת מיומנויות השפה: דיבור והאזנה, קריאה וכתיבה. כל זאת תוך חשיפה לאוצר מילים ותכנים מהתרבות הישראלית.
המשתתפים יקבלו משימות לתרגול בבית להטמעה מרבית של הנלמד בשיעור.

• דיבור והאזנה – שיחה בסיסית בעברית
• קריאה- קריאת מילים
• הבנת הנקרא- הרחבת אוצר מילים
• כתיבה – אותיות הדפוס וסימני הניקוד
בניית מבנה משפט קצר תקין בעברית בעזרת תמונות
