The course will be taught in Hebrew and English and is intended for Non-Hebrew speaking students.
The sessions are held once a week for 45-50 minutes and will focus on learning Hebrew while emphasizing the development of linguistic abilities, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Throughout the course, students will be exposed to vocabulary and content from Israeli culture.
Participants will receive tasks to practice at home and will be given assignments for maximum assimilation of the material covered in class.
Preliminary requirements:
Identifying letters in print and punctuation, basic vocabulary.
In the course we will learn:
Speaking – the students will learn to converse in short sentences, and ask and answer basic questions.
Writing – learning to write letters in script. Practice writing words from print to script.
Reading and listening – the students will learn how to read simple sentences while establishing their understanding of what was read and heard.
Grammar – strengthening the letters, in print and script, building simple sentences in Hebrew, present tense verbs, and their inflection.
