Capture the Moment: Jewish Lens Photography Workshop

This interactive workshop, that runs together with Israeli-American photographer Zion Ozeri and the Museum of the Jewish People in Tel Aviv, will focus on using photography as a mode of storytelling, including how to channel our memorable Jewish and Israeli experiences and values into photos.

We will work with a variety of techniques using memory to construct a picture, painting from imagination, drawing from a video, and experimenting with process-based art using mixed media. Jewish Heroism

TLV Graffiti - between the colors: art and culture

TLV Graffiti – Color, technique, art and social statements – in this course we will look at works by artists and creators of graffiti and street art from Tel Aviv-Jaffa. We will talk about the different techniques that the artists uses in their work and try them out. We will take a look at the social issues that the Graffiti in Tel Aviv express and will try to understand the Israeli mood through the artist’s work. We will follow the artists on social media. We will talk about the uniqueness of the Israeli artists and explore inner struggles between them and the big question of the graffiti and commercializing.
