  My Story

  Anat has served as MATI board member for 9 years and as CEO for 7 years. MATI (Merkaz Tarbut Israeli) is a non-profit organization for Israeli Culture in Los Angeles. For more than 30 years, she has taught music, working with special needs kids and young adults and is also a writer and a producer of different Israeli-Jewish community events in Los Angeles including the Holocaust Memorial family community program in the last 10 years.

  Anat has been a guide at the Holocaust Museum LA for the last 5 years, giving tours in Hebrew and English. She is involved in other Holocaust-related school programs and the Violin of Hope project in LA. Anat serves as the West Coast Representative of ‘Anu’, the Museum of the Jewish People of Beit Hatfutsot in Tel Aviv and the Chair of the Board of the Advot Project – a non-profit organization that uses art-based curriculum to teach communication and relationship skills, empowering participants to find their voice and use it.

  הסיפור שלי

  ענת סדן היא נגנית כלי הקשה ופסנתרנית מקצועית, פעילה חברתית בקהילה הישראלית- אמריקאית בלוס אנג’לס, מורה ומתנדבת בכמה עמותות בלוס אנג’לס. היא בעלת תואר ראשון באומנויות, מורה מוסמכת לחינוך יהודי ובעלת תואר שני בלימודי יהדות.
  ענת שימשה כחברת דירקטוריון במת”י, מרכז תרבות ישראלי בלוס אנג’לס, במשך 9 שנים ו 7 שנים כמנכ”לית האירגון. היא לימדה מוסיקה במשך יותר מ -30 שנה, עבדה ועובדת כיום עם ילדים וצעירים/ות עם צרכים מיוחדים. היא כותבת ומפיקה אירועים שונים בקהילה הישראלית-יהודית בלוס אנג’לס, כולל תוכנית קהילתית לזכרון השואה למשפחות, בעשר השנים האחרונות. ענת משמשת כמדריכה במוזיאון השואה בלוס אנג’לס בחמש השנים האחרונות ומעבירה כיום סיורים בעברית ובאנגלית. היא מעורבת בתכניות בנושא השואה בבתי ספר ובפרויקט “כינורות של תקווה בלוס אנג’לס”. היא משמשת כנציגת החוף המערבי של “אנו, מוזיאון העם היהודי בבית התפוצות” בתל אביב וכנשיאת הדירקטוריון של “אדוות”, ארגון ללא מטרות רווח המשתמש בתכנית לימודים מבוססת על תיאטרון כדי ללמד מיומנויות תקשורת ומערכות יחסים לאוכלוסיות נזקקות באיזור לוס אנג’לס.
