My Story
Mirit is an educator, born and raised in Israel where she taught immigrants the Hebrew language and Israeli culture. She has multiple degrees in Hebrew language and linguistics, and in education. Mirit has lived in the U.S. since 2008, where she has taught Hebrew and Israeli studies at Binghamton University and Ithaca College, and co-founded the local Israeli Film Festival.

מירית היא מורה מישראל אשר נולדה וגדלה בארץ. מירית לימדה עברית עולים חדשים מברית המועצות לשעבר ומאתיופיה.
מירית בעלת תואר ראשון בספרות עברית מאוניברסיטת חיפה ותעודת הוראה בלשון עברית מאוניברסיטת תל-אביב. מירית בעלת שני תארים שניים בחינוך קהילתי וחינוך טכנולוגי. מירית היגרה לארצות הברית ב 2008 ולימדה עברית באוניברסיטת בינגהמטון בניו יורק וכעת מלמדת עברית ברמות שונות באיתקה קולג׳.
בין השאר מירית אירגנה את פסטיבל הסרטים הישראלי בקמפוס באיתקה קולג׳.
