  My Story

  Noa was born in Jerusalem and spent her childhood as a city mouse in bustling Tel Aviv and became a country adolescent in Kiryat Tivon- a beautiful small town in Jezereel Valley. She served as a lead vocalist in Navy ensemble and graduated from the London School of Musical Theater on top of a BA in Humanities from the Open University. Aside from her love for music and a career as a freelance vocalist, Noa is passionate about education –an elementary school teacher in Tel Aviv originating and leading various educational programs, and since moving to the Bay Area she teaches Prayerbook as well as modern Hebrew to teens and adults and created a lecture series combining her two passions teaching “The History of Israel Through Music”.

  Noa also leads the Bnei Mitzvah for Sherith Israel in SF, and serves as cantor/officiator for services. She currently lives with her husband – a chocolate maker- in San Francisco and enjoys merging her passion for music and education in the Bay Area.

  הסיפור שלי

  נעה נולדה בירושלים, בילתה את ילדותה כעכברת עיר בתל אביב והפכה למתבגרת צפונית בקריית טבעון- עיירה קטנה ויפה בעמק יזרעאל. היא שרתה כזמרת ראשית בלהקת חיל הים, סיימה דיפלומה בבית הספר למחזות זמר בלונדון, בנוסף לתואר ראשון במדעי החברה והרוח מהאוניברסיטה הפתוחה. מלבד אהבתה למוזיקה וקריירה כזמרת עצמאית, נעה נהנית בעבודתה בחינוך – בישראל, כמורה בבית ספר יסודי בתל אביב המייסדת ומובילה תכניות חינוכיות שונות, ומאז שעברה לאזור המפרץ היא מלמדת עברית לילדים ובני נוער, עברית לספר התפילה ועברית מודרנית למבוגקים. בנוסף יצרה סדרת הרצאות המשלבת את שתי התשוקות שלה ללמד את “ההיסטוריה של ישראל באמצעות המוזיקה”.

  נעה גם מובילה את תכנית בני המצווה לשארית ישראל בסן פרנסיסקו, ומשמשת כחזנית לבתי כנסת באזור. כיום היא גרה עם בעלה – יצרן שוקולד – בסן פרנסיסקו ונהנית למזג את התשוקה שלה למוזיקה ולחינוך באזור המפרץ.
