  My Story

  Nava was born in Israel and grew up in the sunny port city of Haifa. Looking for adventure and excitement led her to live all over the world including Canada, Greece, Germany and the US.

  Her love of working with people and helping others led her to teaching different languages over the past decade. For Nava, there is nothing more satisfying than making a difference in people’s lives and seeing them achieve their goals. Being a teacher, she believes, is not just about teaching grammar and vocabulary, but effective communication skills, confidence and the ability to deal with uncertainty.

  Always interested in the culinary arts, Nava has worked in the boutique catering food industry in Israel and even started an Israeli pop up restaurant in Germany. Sharing Israeli cuisine with people and exposing them to new cultures through food is one of her favorite activities.
  She currently lives, teaches and cooks in Austin TX.

  נאוה נולדה בישראל וגדלה בעיר הנמל חיפה, אהבתה להרפתקאות הובילו אותה לטייל ולחיות ברחבי העולם. נאוה מלמדת שפות מעל עשור מתוך אהבתה לעבוד עם אנשים ולעזור להם. עבורה הוראת עברית היא יותר מדקדוק ואוצר מילים, לימוד עברית הוא היכולת לתקשר עם האחר בבטחון תוך הבנת התרבות. אחת החוויות המספקות בעיניה היא לקחת חלק בתהליך השינוי שעוברים תלמידיה בזמן שהם עומדים ביעדים ומממשים את עצמם. בזמנה החופשי היא אוהבת ליצור ואפילו בנתה בית קטן על גלגלים בו התגוררה עם משפחתה. היא לא יכולה לדמיין את עצמה ללא ספרים, חברים ומקרוני אנד צ’יז. כרגע היא גרה עם משפחתה באוסטין, טקסס ונהנית מהאוירה הנינוחה והמיוחדת של העיר. נאווה מלמדת עברית ולימודי יהדות
